“Where the hell is this going?” Rick called to me. If it were any other time, | would have
laughed. | turned to look over my shoulder, and | stumbled over my feet. | hit the ground with a grunt.

that seems like probably the worst way to go.”

no one but rocks. | tried to shift, and that’s when | finally realized | was pinned. My mind finally caught up with
my body, and | screamed. The air ran out faster than normal. Dust
coated my tongue when my scream ran out, leavingcoughing.
| tried to gather my strength to move the rock pinning my left arm, but | was too weak from being here for hours.
Hours? | shook my head. | haven't been in here for hours. The tunnel was less than a minute ago...unless | was
knocked unconscious. | tried to shake my head again to clear it, but it just madedizzy. “HELLO!” | screamed
again. Panic crawled up my throat.
“Hold on, Gav!” Ronnie’s voice called back to me. “Don’t panic. You will use up the air. We are coming for you.
Just hold on.”
