Chapter 845: He had been searching for so long.

Every part of him screamed, "Find her. Make sure she's safe. It could have easily been her.” The metallic sound of those thoughts plunged his beast into an almost uncontrollable frenzy. His people scattered as soon as they saw him, quickly parting ways as he stormed ahead.

Sstumbled, others quickly bowed and moved away. They saw his face and didn't dare ask questions. He followed her scent to the library.

He slammed the door open, the wood crashing against the wall with a force that made the hinges tremble. The room fell silent as he stormed in. A few scholars were sitting at the long wooden tables, others were browsing the high shelves, flipping through pages.

"Aekeira!" he barked.

The librarian hurried toward him. "Your Majesty! It's an honor to have you here. You're in the library. The princess is..." "Get out of my way!" Vladya growled as he stormed past him. “Aekeira!" She appeared from a distant corner, a book in her hand and a radiant smile on her face. "My lord, you are.....” He grabbed her by the waist, pressing her against the nearest shelf, burying his face in her neck. He could hear her sharp breaths. He could hear her breath so clearly, it was almost deafening.

"Mladya...?" she asked softly, her tone filled with concern. "Are you alright?" "Stay still." His voice trembled, unable to stop growling. "Smell, smell, smell..." Her scent overwhelmed him, every inch of him consumed by it until all he could smell, all he could breathe, was her.

"I'm here. Right here," she whispered against him, melding into him.

His hands wrapped around her neck, pulling her closer. He understood how much he needed her. Somehow, he always needed her.

Smelling her wasn't enough. He needed more. His instincts demanded more. Damn it.

"I'm trying to control myself..." He placed his palm over her swollen belly.

They were fine. His wife, his child, they were fine. "Daron (t) Aekeira, I'm el trying so hard... it's not working.”

"It's okay. You don't have to try so hard." She gently stroked the back of his neck. "I'm here! I'm fine. Maybe if I say it enough, your beast will calm down."

"I don't think it will until I've buried myself inside you, until I've released myself in you until see my seed drip from your body, sliding down your thighs." He was breathless. "Here? Right now?" she cried out.
